Just thought I'd share some fun pics from our Anniversary. It was truly magical. We felt like newlyweds again. I think every couple needs that. On the 20th of June we ate dinner at an amazing Italian Restaraunte- Vivliono's (in Winchester, VA). That evening we retreated the L'Auberge Provencale, a French B&B...simply fabulous. In the morning we were served a delicious gourmet breakfast w/duck, saffron and all. For our Anniversary Adventure we borrowed our friends kayaks, bikes, and truck. We kayaked for 2.5 hours on the Antietam Creek to the Potomac River, and then biked 8 miles back to the truck, stopped to get some ice cream from a little shop in the town of Sharpsburg, MD. We then picked up the Kayaks. To top the night off we ate dinner at the Grandale Farm, a gourmet resteraunt--its setting is on a beautiful farm with a pond, rolling hills, white buildings and a white silo surrrounded by trees. By the time we picked up Isaac from my & his best friend's home, the Ballams, he was sleeping. Being away from him for two days - we missed him, but it sure was nice to feel we truly "escaped" for a while.
