Saturday we explored the National Cathedral. It was massive, the stonework was immaculate. I felt as if we were in Europe again. Many Nobel Peace Prize winners have been buried here, Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan have also been buried here. The Darth Vader Grotesque is real! It is located on the North side of the Cathedral, the dark side. Check out their website to read about it.
For dinner we ate at La Madeline in Georgetown. An exquisite French Bakery/Cafe...Delicious! My Favorite store we browsed through was The Paper Source. Every bookmaker/artists dream...so many fun papers, envelopes, stamps, just about everything you can imagine. It was inspiring!
