A week ago today I was surrounded by my family. We had gathered for the weekend to celebrate the latest edition to our family! Penelope Jane Terry! Born Aug. 30th, 2009! The festivities began on Friday night. We all gathered, the entire fam (minus Dave & the boys---they were back in St. Louie! We missed you guys!) at Rodizio Grill. So fun! Saturday we went to the Black Island Pumpkin Patch. Last year we went the day after Ash & JC got married, so they were on their Honeymoon and didn't get to experience the Adventures of Black Island. Now with a bambino in tow they fit right in! While we were there we were surprised to run in to...My Uncle Milan's family! (My Uncle Milan passed away 6 mo before my Dad, in June 2008). It truly was a miracle that we ran into one another. I think our Dad's knew what was going on and inspired us to meet up to let us know they were thinking about us. We miss you Uncle Milan & Dad!
Sunday was Penny's Special Day, Her Blessing Day. Penny we love you! And are so excited to have you in our family! You are a special little girl, and look forward to the fun memories we will get to share with you!
