In the beginning of the luncheon Ashley whispered into my ear, "I am having each of the sisters say something about me." After we all ate it was time to share the love, each sibling of Ashley and John-Charles stood up and spoke about what we loved and admired about each of them. It was so special, the spirit flooded the room, and the realization that they were to be married in a few hours hit. It was really happening!
At 3:00 they were married, and then by 6:00 the reception was supposed to begin, but our schedule got thrown off by a long winded Sealer. Ashley and John-Charles didn't arrive to the reception til 6:30, because they were taking wedding pictures! It was CRAZY!
All in all--we had a great time. Everyone that came to the reception didn't want to leave! Those that came later on, in the evening, had a hard time finding a seat! We ate scrumptious food, listened to fun music, and got to dance. I have to say one of my favorite times of the night was watching John-Charles and his 10 groomsmen(?) dance the Riverdance, and then have John-Charles body surf and then thrown in the air. And to see Ashley blush as John-Charles removed her garter with his teeth! It was hilarious! Fun Times.
We love you two! Congratulations Ashley and John-Charles!!!
